As most of you know, the Bay Head and Mantoloking area (and much of New Jersey) is expecting a serious winter storm this weekend. If you have not made preparations yet, please get started.
The following information was just shared by the Mantoloking Office of Emergency Management:
“From the Mantoloking Office of Emergency Management: Due to the pending storm, as of Friday at 5:00pm, all beaches will be closed. Parking on all borough streets will be prohibited as of 5:00pm Friday due to the potential for hazardous conditions.
Please secure all items that may float or fly away due to flood waters and wind.
Contractors must secure all construction sites prior to 5:00pm on Friday. No contractors will be permitted to work within the borough on Saturday.
Please follow this website, and the Mantoloking Police Department and Mantoloking Office of Emergency ManagementFacebook pages for further updates.”
Bay Head is directing its residents to the Bay Head Police Department Facebook page for updates.
Stay warm and safe!
