FEMA recently released a video regarding recent changes to the National Flood Insurance Program.  Congress continues to make changes to the National Flood Insurance program, and to the laws that govern it, so it is important to keep up-to-date.

“More change is coming to the National Flood Insurance Program as a result of two recent acts passed by Congress. This video will summarize the changes that became effective November 1, 2015. Many of these changes are a result of the implementation of the Homeowner Flood Insurance Affordability Act (HFIAA) passed by Congress and signed into law in 2014 and the continued implementation of Biggert-Waters 2012 legislation (BW-12).” – from the FEMA website
