Statistics from the National Association of Realtors show that home sales prices are up in most price brackets, and in many cases, by over 10%! Though many price brackets are up, overall, the sales volume – number of homes sold – is down in some markets. This may in part be due to the fact that new lending laws are delaying closings, which in turn has an impact on when closings are reported.
