Yesterday (10/8/13), Mantoloking introduced an ordinance at a Special Council Meeting that would allow the town to take the remaining oceanfront easements if necessary.
“We started this process four months ago. Now we are finally moving forward with it. We have been trying to get these easements since the storm, and we are coming up on the anniversary and it’s time.” – Mayor George Nebel
