Mantoloking is in the news once again, this time regarding the efforts to recover sand that was lost in Sandy, and to restore it to the beach where it belongs. Sand that was pushed into the bay is being dredged out, sifted to remove debris, and placed back on the beach. This work is currently being done under a state contract.
