At yesterday’s (10/22) council meeting, the Mantoloking Borough Council voted unanimously to authorize eminent domain proceedings pertaining to the oceanfront property owners who have not yet signed easements. This is a necessary step in allowing both the steel revetment and Army Corps beach replenishment projects to start. You can read the borough ordinance here, and the full news report here.
