As you may have seen in the Ocean Star, or on the borough website, beach replenishment is scheduled to start in Mantoloking around Labor Day.  Some equipment has been staged in the area of Lyman Street, and an underwater pipeline (for the transfer of sand) has been installed on the beach near Herbert Street.  The attached photo shows this pipeline, and associated warning sign.  Once replenishment starts, work is expected to continue 24 hours a day, with progress of 100 – 200 feet per day anticipated.  The work will take place within an enclosed 1000 foot safety and work zone, that will move along the beach as the work moves.

The town has also just published a comprehensive beach fill update on their website (posted 8/30).
