Though our summer sunrises and sunsets are quite beautiful, some of the best scenery in Bay Head and Mantoloking seems to take place in the winter. Below are two recent videos, one of the sunrise and sea smoke ( a “fog” that appears over the water when the water is relatively warm, and the air is very very cold – it can be seen over the ocean and bay) in Mantoloking, and another of a sunset, looking across the marsh at Beaton’s Boatyard.
