Periodically, the National Association of Realtors publishes reports and statistics about the real estate market. These include the behavior of buyers, and many other topics. If you are building a home, selling a home, or are preparing one to sell, the 2013 Home Features Survey may be of interest to you. There are many interesting findings, and here is one example:
“While granite countertops were very important to 20% of home buyers, and stainless steel appliances to 17% of buyers, new kitchen appliances and eat-in kitchens were most important.” – NAR
