On September 29, 2015, the Ocean County Health Department conducted soil sampling and testing of the Bay Head fields that were used as a “Temporary Debris Management Area” after Sandy. They were specifically looking for petroleum and heavy metal contaminants, and found that all levels were well below acceptable levels.
