Mantoloking just recently released an update regarding beach access in the borough this summer. Beach access will be complicated by both Sandy-related damage, and the construction of the steel revetment. Happily, it sounds like there will still be ample beach access throughout the town. Due to construction activity at Downer Avenue, the Mantoloking Beach Association’s guarded beach will be moved to Albertson Street until further notice.
The following is the most current information about beach access in Mantoloking that is presently available. A new beach information brochure is expected to be available in the near future.
Town badges will go on sale June 15th next to the firehouse, where the Borough Hall used to be.

All access points between Lyman & Herbert St. are also open, however the access points will not be groomed, as the steel and dredging contractor will be working in this area first. The contractor will maintain a 500′ work zone around each crew where there will be no access. Town access points will consist of sand, but stairs and/or ramps will be built after the Army Corps project is complete.
** The walk way between 1039 & 1041 Ocean Avenue will remain closed for public safety reasons**
